Where fine detailing in traditional wrought (puddled) wrought iron has been lost or badly treated in the past (such as leaf or scrolling), our master craftsmen can recreate authentic detail, working with surviving fabric or creating exact replicas, depending on the circumstance (see Philosophy).
Cast iron structural features can be cleaned, repaired or replaced as appropriate, including complete new-build projects to the very highest standard.
As well as a work on the traditional iron materials, staircases, balcony and balustrade projects often require work on timber using wood conseravtion techniques and masonry – as with stone balcony platforms or wooden handrails.
Here again, our breadth of engineering and technical skills mean we can handle all these elements, making us the ideal one-stop-shop for this kind of project.
