Case Study
‘Splash’ by Sarah Tombs

Restoration of a modern steel sculpture.

‘Splash’, a modern steel sculpture by the well known artist Sarah Tombs, was in need of restoration and repair prior to a planned relocation.

The piece was collected from Keele University where it had been on display for a number of years. The repairs were then carried out at our Whaley Bridge workshop.

‘Splash’ was then lacquered and delivered to mid-Wales to form part of the Lampeter Sculpture Project.
