Tin Turtle
Television featured project to restore a World War I
rail locomotive.
The petrol-engined Tin Turtle was used in France during WWI to ship troops, munitions and supplies to the front.
Working with the "Salvage Squad" team from Channel 4 and volunteers from the Moseley Railway Trust, our team was able to put the engine back into
full operating condition for participation in a special Armistice Day 2002 event
in France.
