Case Study
Victoria Park Hotel, Barrow-in-Furnace

Repairs to a glazed iron canopy following damage
by a lorry.

The entrance canopy at
the Victoria Park Hotel was badly damaged when it was struck by a lorry. Our first priority was to take down
the canopy to prevent it
from further damage
and collapse.

The wrought and cast iron glazed structure was then dismantled and repaired
at our Whaley Bridge works.  Sections of roof petals had to be re-cast in iron
and many of the side brackets repaired.

All the glass had to be replaced with new coloured Spectrum glass.
