Dorothea Restorations delivers a nationwide service from its two workshops located in Whaley Bridge, Derbyshire, and in Bristol.
These two workshops are equipped with the widest range of equipment and facilities, making us one of the few organisations in the UK able to handle complicated conservation, restoration or replication projects.
Facilities include:

- Pattern making
- Castings in iron, bronze and steel
- Traditional blacksmithing
- Hot set riveting and heavy flanging
- Machining and erection workshops
- Surface treatment
- Mill work, woodworking and maintenance contracts
We also carry out a significant amount of work on site, operating as project managers, principal contractors or subcontractors.
Having agreed the most effective combination of on and off-site activity with the client, we are then equally skilled at both dismantling, lifting and transporting large delicate objects, and in establishing on-site workshop facilities where required.
