Cast iron staircase restoration

Langford Veterinary College is part of the University of the West of England (UWE) and is set in beautiful grounds just outside of Bristol.

The staircase sits on top of one of the old, historic Grade 2 listed buildings. It gives access to a wooden octagon lantern to provide views around the grounds.

We restored the staircase, and following the completion of roofing works, we are now beginning installation. 

Missing sections of casting were copied and recast from original surviving sections, whilst remaining elements, where serviceable, were pinned and repaired.
